American Food and Feed Alliance
Fighting for Common Sense Agricultural Policy

The American Food and Feed Alliance (AFFA) advocates for public policy that supports and protects domestic agriculture and food security. Our work is bold, bipartisan, and grounded in the principles that make American agriculture great: self-sufficiency, community strength, and innovation. We collaborate with lawmakers and advocates to tackle the challenges of our food system and advance smart solutions. Join us in defending America's proud agricultural heritage.

AFFA works to oppose insect production, a novel threat to American feed producers, taxpayers, and the public. We urge policymakers to place a moratorium on the construction or expansion of insect facilities until further research is done on their implications for the economy, resource usage, public health, and biosecurity. We are deeply concerned by efforts to support this unproven and inefficient industry with taxpayer funding.

It is critical that policymakers act now to prevent the insect industry from mandating and deceiving its way into our food supply. With insect producers refusing to address concerns over allergens, parasites, and the escape of pathogens from their facilities, there is no time to waste. Protect Colorado's agricultural sector and farming communities by supporting our Colorado Agricultural Heritage Protection Act.
